Built before the Reformation in 1511 by Henry Trecarrell, its intricately carved granite exterior makes it one of the finest churches in Britain. It is open daily 10am - 4pm for visitors. On Sundays and bank holidays it is open during service times.

Welcome to the parish church of St Thomas the Apostle, Launceston in the Anglican Diocese of Truro and county of Cornwall England. Its tranquil setting was once the site of the largest Priory in Cornwall, which was dissolved by Henry VIII in 1540. The Priory ruins are visible adjacent to the church.
